Ingredients

  • 4 - Drumsticks
  • 1/2 cup - chick pea dal
  • 1 - Onion (small)
  • 3 - Green chillies
  • 1 tsp - perum Jeera
  • 1/2 bunch -coriander leaves
  • salt to taste
  • oil for frying
  • How to Make Drumstick Vada:

    1. Cut the drumsticks into long pieces and boil with minimum amount of water. When it boils, cool and separate the fleshy part of the drumstick from the skin and keep aside.
    2. Soak the dal in water for 3 hours and blend coarsely.
    3. Cut the onion and green chillies into small, thin pieces.
    4. Chop the coriander leaves.
    5. Mix the drumsticks' fleshy part with dal, onion, green chillies, coriander leaves, perum jeera and salt.
    6. Shape like vadas and deep-fry it in oil.
