Ingredients

  • 1 kg - broiler Chicken (cut into medium-sized pieces)
  • 4 to 5 - Tomatoes (finely chopped)
  • 2 tbsp - oil
  • 6 to 8 - Kashmiri chillies
  • a few peppercorns
  • 2 - Cinnamons (small)
  • a few strands of Saffron
  • 1 tsp - Cumin seed powder
  • salt to taste
  • How to Make Dry Chicken:

    1. Clean and wash the chicken pieces.
    2. Heat oil in a non-stick pan.
    3. Add the chillies, peppercorns and cinnamons.
    4. Saute the spices for a few seconds.
    5. Add the chicken pieces along with saffron and cumin seed powder.
    6. Add salt and mix well.
    7. Add tomatoes and mix well.
    8. Cook on low flame until the chicken becomes tender and dry.
    9. Serve hot.
