Ingredients

  • 2 cups, grated - dry coconut
  • 9 - red chilli
  • 3 clove - garlic cloves
  • 1 tsp - oil
  • A few - curry leaves
  • 1/4 tsp - mustard seeds
  • A pinch - asafetida
  • Salt to taste.

How to Make Dry Coconut Powder

  • Dry roast the red chilli in a pan.
  • Cool, and grind with grated dry coconut, salt and garlic.
  • In a kadai add oil and splutter mustard, add curry leaves, asafoetida, and ground dry coconut mix.
  • Saute for a minute and switch off the flame.
  • When it cools, store in air tight box.
