Ingredients

  • 1 tsp - chilli powder
  • 1 tsp - cumin powder
  • 1 tsp - pepper powder
  • 1/2 tsp - turmeric powder
  • 2- tomatoes chopped
  • 1/2 cup - tamarind juice
  • 2 tsp - dried shrimp powder

How to Make Dry Shrimp Pepper Water

  • Puree the tomatoes and add 3 cups of water.
  • Now add all the other ingredients except the shrimp powder.
  • Boil for 10 minutes.
  • Season the pepper water with mustard seeds, curry leaves, 2 red chillies broken into bits and half an onion chopped.
  • Add the shrimp powder and mix well.
  • Serve Hot with rice.
