  • 1 - whole duck
  • Salt to taste
  • 3 tsp - pepper powder
  • 3 tbsp - oil.
  • How to Make Duck Roast:

    1. Marinate the duck with the salt and pepper for about 1/2 an hour.
    2. Heat oil or ghee in a thick bottomed pan or pressure cooker and add the whole duck.
    3. Turn from side and fry for about for about 5 minutes.
    4. Add 2 cups of water.
    5. Cover the vessel with a tight lid and simmer over low heat turning the duck occasionally till it is cooked and all the water is absorbed.
    6. Continue to cook till the duck is roasted to a lovely golden brown.
    7. Serve with roasted potatoes and boiled veggies.
