Ingredients

  • 8 cups - Milk
  • 4 tbsp - Rice
  • 1 tsp - powdered Cardamom
  • 1/4 tsp - Saffron
  • 1 tbsp - Raisins
  • 1/2 cup - Sugar or according to taste
  • 1 tsp - Ghee
  • 1/2 tsp - Nutmeg powder
  • 1 tbsp - blanched and sliced Almonds and pistas
  • How to Make Dudh Pak:

    1. Wash and dry the rice, and then rub in 1 tsp of ghee.
    2. Bring the milk to a boil; add rice and cook on a slow flame till the rice is cooked well.
    3. Add sugar and cook till milk reaches a creamy consistency.
    4. Add the powdered cardamom, nutmeg, saffron, almond, pista, and raisins.
    5. Simmer for 2 minutes and serve.
    6. It can be eaten hot with puris or cold as a pudding.
