Ingredients

  • 1/4 - bottle gourd
  • 2 cups - wheat flour
  • 1/2 cup - rava/sooji
  • 2 tbsp - jeera/cumin seeds
  • 1/4 tbsp - haldi/turmeric powder
  • 1 tbsp - chilli powder (according to your taste)
  • Chopped coriander
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil

How to Make Dudhiche Thalipeeth

  • Take a kadhai and put 2 spoons of wheat flour and roast until it will turn into pink colour. Keep it aside.
  • Now add 1 tsp of oil in a kadhai and roast rawa/sooji until turn into pink colour. Keep it in the same bowl of wheat flour. Peel the bottle gourd and grate it and squeeze out the water from it and add grated gourd into flour mixture.
  • Don't throw the water.
  • Add turmeric powder, chilli powder, jeera/cumin seeds, salt, chopped coriander into it.
  • Make dough out of it using little water of gourd if needed and with little oil.
  • Keep this dough aside for 30 mins and make lemon size balls and then roll into a puri shape and roast it on tava with little oil.
  • Serve with tasty curd, butter or tomato sauce.
