Ingredients

  • 1/2 tsp - Turmeric
  • 1.5 tsp - chilli powder, or according to taste
  • 4 - large potatoes, boiled, peeled, and cubed
  • salt to taste
  • Grind these ingredients into a powder:
  • 1 tbsp - Poppy Seeds
  • 10-12 - Cashew nuts
  • 10-12 - Almonds
  • 2, 1" sticks - Cinnamon
  • Grind these into a paste :
  • 2 tbsp - oil
  • 2 - fried Onions
  • 1 - Tomato
  • 3-4 chillies as per taste

How to Make Dum Aloo in Almond & Cashew Nut Gravy

  • Heat oil in a pan. Add turmeric and chilli powder to it.
  • Add ground powder and the required amount of water and cook for 2 minutes.
  • Add the paste of onions and tomato.
  • Boil for a few minutes.
  • Add potatoes.
  • Add salt.
