Ingredients

  • 1/2 kg - flattened Mutton pieces (pasanday)
  • 2 tsp - ginger-garlic paste
  • 2 tsp - chilli powder
  • 1/2 tsp - Turmeric powder
  • 1 cup - Curd
  • 1/2 cup - Cream
  • 100g - Paneer (mashed)
  • 1 bunch - fresh coriander (chopped)
  • 1 bunch fresh - Mint (chopped)
  • 8 Green chillies (chopped)
  • 1 Onion
  • 2 tbsp - Almond powder or Kaju powder
  • 1 tsp - Garam Masala
  • 4 tbsp - oil
  • 1/4 tsp - Saffron ground in 2 tbsp water
  • salt to taste
  • 1 tsp- Papaya Peel
  • How to Make Dum Ke Pasanday:

    1. Rub salt and ginger-garlic paste to the pasanday. If the meat is hard, rub 1 teaspoon of ground papaya peel. Keep for 10 to 15 minutes.
    2. Mix the remaining ingredients and rub well.
    3. Put in a baking dish and arrange tomato or egg slices on top; bake in a moderate oven at 180 C for 30 to 40 minutes.
