  • Cottage cheese - 500g
  • 4 - Egg yolks
  • 1 - whole Egg
  • salt to taste
  • How to Make Easter Cheese Cake:

    1. Press cottage cheese through a sieve.
    2. Beat egg yolks and whole egg together until very light and creamy.
    3. Combine with cheese; beat well.
    4. Season to taste with salt.
    5. Spoon mixture into a well-buttered baking dish.
    6. Bake at 300 to 325 degrees C for about 45 minutes or until mixture does not adhere to the blade of a knife inserted in the centre.
    7. Chill thoroughly before serving.
    8. Serve in slices.
