Ingredients

  • 1lb - confectioners' Sugar
  • 2 tbsp - water
  • 1 tbsp - light Corn syrup
  • 1 tbsp - butter, softened
  • 1 tsp - vanilla
  • 1/4 tsp - salt
  • 1/4 tsp - Almond extract
  • 1 tsp - Cream of tartar
  • 1 1/3 c - flaked Coconut
  • Chocolate coating :
  • 8 squares - semi-sweet chocolate
  • How to Make Easter Egg Candies:

    1. Combine sugar, water, corn syrup, butter, and vanilla.
    2. Add the salt, almond extract, and cream of tartar. Add the coconut.
    3. Shape into Easter eggs.
    4. Melt the chocolate in a double boiler over low heat.
    5. Cool and then frost the eggs.
