  • 25 - badam/almonds
  • 1.5 times of badam paste - sugar
  • same amount as sugar - ghee

How to Make Easy Almond Halwa

  • Soak badam in water for half a day.
  • Peel and make a paste with milk in a mixer.
  • Take sugar (1 and 1/2 times of badam paste) in a kadai, add some water to it and boil it until you get a thin string.
  • Then add the badam paste and mix well.
  • Add the ghee a little by little and stir well.
  • You should keep the gas flame on medium.
  • After 8 minutes, switch off the gas and remove the kadai from heat and keep on stirring.
  • As it starts getting cold, it will solidify.
  • Then spread it on a plate and garnish with raisins and shape as you like
