Ingredients

  • 1 - Banana (peeled, sliced)
  • 1 - jalapeno or equivalent of Serrano chilli
  • 1 cup - Curd
  • 1 tsp - mustard
  • salt and Sugar to taste

How to Make Easy Banana Raita

  • Mix all the ingredients, except the mustard, and keep the raita aside.
  • Grind the mustard with a pestle into a dry powder. Add some water and grind again until it leaves a strong, pungent aroma.
  • Add the mustard paste to the raita and mix well.
  • Serve with dal and roti or rice.
