Ingredients

  • 1 medium sized - bell pepper (capsicum)
  • 1 tbsp - urad dhal
  • 4 - Red Chilli
  • 1 medium sized - Onion
  • 2 - Garlic
  • 4 to 5 strands - Curry leaves
  • 1 bunch - Coriander leaves
  • 1 tbsp - amchur powder
  • 1/4 cup - roasted gram
  • How to Make Easy Bell pepper chutney:

    1. Roast urad dhal in a pan with no oil.
    2. In 1 tsp of oil, fry chillies, onion, garlic, ginger and curry leaves.
    3. Later, add cut capsicum pieces and fry till it becomes soft and keep it aside.
    4. In a mixie, grind these first - coriander bunch, amchur powder and salt.
    5. Then add all the fried ingredients.
    6. Finally, add roasted gram and grind it, add very little water if needed.
    7. Then season with mustard seeds.
