Ingredients

  • 2 cups - fine biscuit crumbs
  • 1/4 cup - shortening
  • 1/3 cup - Sugar
  • 1/2 cup - Raisins
  • 1/4 cup - Walnuts
  • 2/3 cup - Milk
  • 1 Egg
  • 1 tsp - baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp - salt
  • 1 tsp - vanilla essence

How to Make Easy Biscuit Pudding

  • Cream together shortening, sugar and vanilla essence.
  • Add egg yolk and beat well.
  • Chop and stir in fruits and nuts.
  • Mix in biscuit crumbs, baking powder and salt.
  • Add to creamed mixture alternately with milk.
  • Whip egg white until stiff and fold into the mixture.
  • Spoon into greased custard cups 2/3 full and bake in mode oven for 25-30 mins.
