Ingredients

  • 1. Bread - 6 slices,cut into 4 large pieces.
  • 2. Besan- 2 cups.
  • 3. Onion- 1 cut very finely.
  • 4. chilli powder-1/2 tea spoon (or desired by you)
  • 5. Garam masala-1/4 teaspoon.
  • 6. Coriander leaves- 1 tablespoon (cut finely)
  • 7. Salt to taste.
  • Oil to shallow fry.
  • How to Make Easy Bread Tikkis:

    1. Mix besan, cut onions, chilli powder, coriander leaves, garam masala and salt.
    2. Add sufficient water to make thick batter like slightly watery than the idly batter.
    3. Dip bread pieces one by one till nicely coated, and place them on the hot oil smeared tava.
    4. Add a spoonful of oil or more if you like it around the bread slices and cook on a low flame.
    5. When it turns golden colour, turn and cook the other side also in the same manner.
    6. You can shallow fry 4 pieces at a time if the tava is large.
    7. Eat hot with corriander chutney.
    8. Corriader Chutney 1. 1 bunch corriander leaves.
    9. 2. 2 tablespoon coconut gratings.
    10. 3. 2 pods garlic.
    11. 4. 2 green chillies (if you want it to hot you can add one more)
    12. 5. 1/4 teaspoon jeera.
    13. 6. Juice of 1/2 lemon.
    14. 7. tiny piece of ginger.
    15. 8. salt to taste
    16. 9. 1/4 teaspoon sugar. Method Wash and drain the corriander leaves, and grind all the ingredients along with the corrinder leaves...raw.
