  • 2 cups - Bread crumbs
  • 5 - Green chillies
  • Salt to taste
  • 1- Big onion
  • 1 tsp - Turmeric
  • For seasoning: Mustard, Channa dal, Urad dal, Oil

How to Make Easy Bread Upma

  • In a heavy-bottomed pan, heat oil in low flame.
  • Add mustard, channa dal and urad dal. When it is slightly done, add green chillies cut into small pieces.
  • When green chillies are fried, add the onion cut into small pieces.
  • When the onion is slightly brown, add salt and turmeric.
  • Add bread crumbs, mix well and cook it on a low flame for 2 to 3 minutes, without covering it.
