Ingredients

  • Black dal - 1/2 cup
  • Rajma - 1/2 cup
  • Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Onion - 1 medium.
  • Tomato - 1 medium
  • Ginger-garlic paste - 1/2 tsp
  • Curd - 1/2 cup
  • Milk - 1/4 cup
  • Butter - 1/2 tbsp

How to Make Easy Dal Makhani

  • Wash and soak dal for an hour.
  • Pressure cook the dal with salt and turmeric.
  • Cook for 1 whistle and switch off the flame, do not open.
  • Cut the onion and tomato into small pieces.
  • Put all the other ingredients into dal and boil till dal becomes soft and mix well.
  • Before serving garnish with a little butter and coriander leaves.
