Ingredients

  • 1 cup - Dates (seedless)
  • 3-4 - Whole Red Chillies
  • 2 tsp - Cumin powder
  • 1 tbsp - Oil
  • Salt - To taste

How to Make Easy Dates Chutney

  • Soak the dates in water for an hour.
  • Take a pan, heat the oil.
  • When it is a little hot, add dry red chillies and fry it.
  • Then add finely chopped dates. Cook well on medium heat for 5 to 6 minutes.
  • Then allow it to cool for some time.
  • Then add salt and cumin powder to it.
  • Add a little water and grind it to a paste-like consistency (the water used for soaking the dates can be used).
  • Check the seasoning.
