Ingredients

  • Chicken - 1 kg
  • Ginger - 100-150 g
  • Green chillies - 10-12
  • Onion - 200 g
  • Capsicum - 1 medium
  • Soya sauce - 1 tsp
  • Corn flour - 1 tbsp
  • Celery and spring onions, chopped - 1 tbsp each
  • Oil - 4 tbsp
  • Salt to taste.

How to Make Easy Ginger Chicken

  • Wash and marinate chicken with salt for 1/2 hour.
  • Heat oil in a kadai, add chopped ginger and saute till it softens.
  • Then add the chicken and saute for 10 mins.
  • Now add water and cook for 10-15 mins.
  • Then add the diced onion, green chillies and capsicum to it.
  • Saute until tender.
  • Mix the corn flour with 1/4 cup water and add to the chicken. Boil for 2- 3 mins.
  • Garnish with celery and spring onion.
