Ingredients

  • Cauliflower - 2
  • Grated Onion - 1 cup
  • Garlic paste - 1 tsp
  • Ginger paste - 1 tsp
  • Tomato puree - 1/2 cup
  • Red Chilli powder - 1 tsp
  • Garam Masala powder - 1 tsp
  • Coriander powder - 1 tsp
  • Turmeric powder - 2 tsp
  • Cumin (cumin) powder - 1 tsp
  • Oil - 2 tsp
  • Chopped green Coriander leaves for garnishing
  • Salt to taste
  • How to Make Easy Gobi Mussallam:

    1. Remove stalk from cauliflowers.
    2. Add salt and one tsp of turmeric powder to water and boil the cauliflowers in it until half cooked.
    3. Heat oil in a kadai.
    4. Add grated onions and saute until golden brown.
    5. Add ginger paste, garlic paste, cumin powder, coriander powder, the remaining turmeric powder, red chilli powder, garam masala powder and salt.
    6. Stir for half a minute.
    7. Add tomato puree and cook until the masala oozes oil.
    8. Add the cauliflowers and cook for 10 minutes.
    9. Garnish with chopped green coriander leaves.
    10. Serve hot with roti.
