How to Make Easy Green Tomato Chutney

  • Cut the green tomatoes into big chunks.
  • In a frying pan, heat oil, add chillies, curry leaves and tomatoes.
  • Fry till they are cooked.
  • Tomatoes should get soft.
  • Switch off the gas and allow to cool.
  • Once cooled, add this in a blender along with jaggery, salt and roasted groundnuts (or channa dal).
  • Grind without any water.
  • Heat some mustard seeds in another kadai and add this to the chutney.
  • Serve with rice or rotis.
