  • 1 cup - ricotta cheese
  • 1 cup - milk powder
  • 1 cup - sugar
  • 1/2 cup - chopped pistachios and almonds
  • 3 or 4 - cardamoms
  • 2 tbsp - butter
  • Green or yellow food color
  • 1 pinch - saffron

How to Make Easy Microwave Ricotta Cheese Burfi

  • Put the butter in microwaveable dish or bowl on high heat and cook for 1 minute.
  • Now add the ricotta cheese, milk powder and sugar. Stir well.
  • Now cook again for 5 minutes.
  • Stir and cook again for 3 minutes.
  • Now add cardamom powder, saffron, chopped 1/4 cup pistas and almonds and few drops of food colour.
  • Mix well and pour on to a plate.
  • Garnish with the remaining chopped pistas and almonds.
  • Let it cool and cut into diamond shapes.
