Ingredients

  • 2 cups - Wheat flour
  • 1/2 cup - Frozen, cut spinach
  • 2 to 3 tsp - Til seeds
  • 2 to 3 tsp - Oil
  • 2 to 3 tsp - Jeera seeds
  • 1 tsp - Turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp - Ginger/garlic paste
  • 1 tsp - Hing
  • 3 to 4 tsp - Chilli powder
  • Coriander leaves (optional)
  • 1 tsp - Lemon juice
  • Sugar to taste
  • Salt to taste

How to Make Easy Palak and Methi Paratha

  • Dry roast the til seeds till golden brown.
  • Mix all the ingredients, except the wheat flour, with the spinach, and cook it in the microwave on high for 2 to 3 minutes.
  • If you are using fresh methi leaves, first chop them and cook with a little water in the microwave before mixing with the other ingredients.
  • Mix the spinach curry/mix with the wheat flour and add the oil and a little warm water to bring it to the consistency of chapati dough.
  • Season with salt, sugar, and chilli powder according to taste and leave it aside for a few minutes.
  • Roll the dough out into chapatis and cook them on a hot tawa.
