Ingredients

  • Basmati Rice - 2 cups.
  • Peas - 1/2 cup.
  • Water - 3 cups.
  • Ghee - 1/4 cup.
  • oil - 1/4 cup.
  • Green chillies - 6 (finely chopped).
  • Ginger - 10 g, finely chopped.
  • Spices - 2 each.
  • Onion - 2 medium pieces.
  • Coriander leaves - 1/2 cup.
  • Cashews, roasted - 1/4 cup.
  • How to Make Easy Peas Pulao:

    1. Soak the rice, cook it adding salt and keep aside. In a kadai, heat ghee and oil. Add chopped onion and fry till golden brown.
    2. Then add chopped ginger, green chillies and saute for a minute.
    3. Then add peas and salt.
    4. Put the rice and cook in high heat for 5-7 minutes.
    5. Garnish with coriander and cashews.
    6. Serve hot with any spicy side dish.
