Ingredients

  • 1 kg - pork (boneless) cubed as desired and washed.
  • 1 kg - onions sliced finely.
  • 6 tbsp - oil.
  • 10 - slit green chillies.
  • 1 pod - garlic chopped.
  • 2 inches - ginger chopped.
  • Salt to taste.
  • For vindaloo ground masala: 3 - red chillies.
  • 2 - cloves.
  • 1- bay leaf.
  • 1 tsp - turmeric.
  • 2 - green chillies.
  • 1 cup - vinegar.

How to Make Easy Pork Vindaloo

  • Apply the ground masala to the pork pieces and set aside for 5 hours to marinate.
  • Heat oil, add onions and salt to taste and fry till the onions are cooked translucent and about to turn brown.
  • Add ginger, garlic and chillies.
  • Fry for 1 minute.
  • Add pork with all the marinade and fry stirring continuously.
  • Cover and cook stirring occasionally, as the pork should not stick to the bottom of the vessel.
  • If necessary, add 1/4 cup water and pressure cook on low flame for 1 hour and 30 mins|
