Ingredients

  • 1 kg - Pork (boneless) cubed as desired and washed.
  • 1 kg - Onions sliced finely.
  • 6 tbsp - oil.
  • 10 - slit green chillies.
  • 1 pod - Garlic chopped.
  • 2 inches - Ginger chopped.
  • Salt to taste.
  • For vindaloo ground masala: 3 - red chillies.
  • 2 - cloves.
  • 1- bay leaf.
  • 1 tsp - turmeric.
  • 2 - green chillies.
  • 1 cup - vinegar.
  • How to Make Easy Pork Vindaloo:

    1. Apply the ground masala to the pork pieces and set aside for 5 hours to marinate.
    2. Heat oil, add onions and salt to taste and fry till the onions are cooked translucent and about to turn brown.
    3. Add ginger, garlic and chillies.
    4. Fry for 1 minute.
    5. Add pork with all the marinade and fry stirring continuously.
    6. Cover and cook stirring occasionally, as the pork should not stick to the bottom of the vessel.
    7. If necessary, add 1/4 cup water and pressure cook on low flame for 1 hour and 30 mins|
