Ingredients

  • 1 big glass Rice - boiled and set aside.
  • 2 large Potatoes - boiled, peeled and cubed.
  • 1/2 cup - peas.
  • 1/2 tsp - Turmeric powder.
  • 1 tsp - jeera.
  • 1 tsp - mustard seeds.
  • Curry leaves - a few.
  • Lime juice.
  • salt to taste| For the Paste:
  • 1 large bunch - Mint leaves (pudina).
  • 6 to 7 - green chillies.
  • 3 inch - ginger.
  • 1 tsp - shahjeera.

How to Make Easy Pudina rice

  • In a pan, heat oil and add mustard seeds. When they begin to splutter, add jeera and then curry leaves, peas, cubed potato pieces and fry until golden brown.
  • Add the mint paste and fry for some time. Then add turmeric powder.
  • Then lime juice and fry for some more time.
  • Lastly add rice, mix well and fry for a few more minutes.
  • Serve hot.
