Ingredients

  • 4 pieces - garlic
  • 1 - tomato
  • 1/2 tsp - tamarind paste
  • 5 - crushed peppercorns
  • 1.5 tsp - rasam powder
  • 1/2 tsp - toor dal
  • Seasoning: 1/2 tsp - cumin seeds
  • 1/2 tsp - mustard seeds
  • 1/2 tsp - ghee
  • Coriander leaves - a few sprigs

How to Make Easy rasam

  • Boil two glasses of tamarind water with crushed garlic, tomato pieces, and toor dal.
  • After 5 minutes, add rasam powder and crushed pepper, and boil.
  • Finally, season it with mustard and cumin seeds (roasted in ghee).
  • Garnish it with coriander leaves.
