Ingredients

  • Saboodhana - 1 cup
  • Ginger Garlic paste - 2 tsp
  • Green Chillies- 4, paste
  • Potatoes- 2, boiled and mashed
  • Salt to taste
  • Groundnuts - 1/4 cup, powdered
  • Oil for frying.
  • How to Make Easy Saboodhana Vada:

    1. Soak saboodana for 8 hours/ overnight.
    2. Drain the water from the saboodana and add the mashed potatoes, green chilli paste, ginger garlic paste, salt, powdered groundnuts and mix well.
    3. Let the mixture be firm and thick.
    4. Divide the mixture into equal portions.
    5. Flatten each portion in the shape of a vada.
    6. Heat oil in a kadai and take a portion and fry until crisp.
    7. Repeat till all the vadas are fried.
    8. Serve hot with chutney.
