  • 2 cups - Wheat flour
  • 1/2 cup - frozen cut spinach/Methi
  • 2-3 tsp - til seeds
  • 2-3 tsp - oil
  • 2-3 tsp - Jeera seeds
  • 1 tsp - Turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp - ginger/garlic paste
  • 1 tsp - Hing
  • 3-4 tsp - chilli powder
  • Coriander leaves (optional)
  • 1 tsp - Lemon juice
  • Sugar to taste
  • salt to taste
  • How to Make Easy Spinach-Methi Paratha:

    1. First, dry-roast the til seeds till golden brown.
    2. Mix all the ingredients, except the wheat flour, with the spinach and cook in microwave on high for 2 to 3 minutes.
    3. If using fresh methi leaves, they have to be chopped first and cooked with a little water in the microwave before mixing with the ingredients.
    4. Then mix it with the wheat flour, adding the oil and a little warm water to give it the consistency of a chapati dough.
    5. Adjust the salt, sugar, and chilli powder according to taste and leave aside for a few minutes.
    6. Roll the dough out into chapatis and cook them on a hot iron tawa.
    7. Enjoy with pickle/chutney.
