  • 1 cup - Cooked Rice
  • 5 - Tomatoes, chopped
  • 2 - Onions, chopped
  • 1/4 tsp - Turmeric powder
  • 1/2 tsp - Chilli powder
  • 1 tsp - Cumin seeds
  • Coriander- 1 small bunch, chopped
  • Oil
  • Salt to taste

How to Make Easy Tomato rice

  • Heat oil in a kadai and splutter the cumin seeds.
  • Then saute the onions until pink and add the tomatoes, turmeric powder, salt, and chilli powder.
  • Cover and cook for about 15 minutes until the tomatoes soften.
  • Remove from heat and add the cooked rice and mix well.
  • Garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot.
