Ingredients

  • 3 - Large tomatoes, chopped
  • 1 - Large onion, cut lengthwise
  • 4 - Green chillies, cut lengthwise
  • 1 - Sprig Curry leaves
  • A small bunch of chopped Coriander Leaves
  • 1/2 tsp - Mustard
  • Salt to taste
  • 2 tbsp - Oil

How to Make Easy Tomato Saar

  • Heat oil in a saucepan.
  • Add mustard and let it splutter.
  • Then add curry leaves, onion, green chillies, tomatoes, coriander leaves, and salt, and saute for a while.
  • Add 1.5 cups of water and let it boil for 5 minutes.
  • Finally, you may garnish it with more coriander leaves.
