Ingredients

  • Ghee or oil - 2 tbsp
  • Onion - 1/2 cup, minced
  • Ginger - 1 tsp, minced
  • Chilli powder - 1/2 tsp
  • Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
  • Cumin powder - 1/2 tsp
  • Garam Masala powder - 1/2 tsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Potato - 1 cup, boiled, peeled and cubed
  • eggs - 2, lightly beaten
  • Coriander leaves - 1 small bunch- to garnish
  • How to Make Egg Charchari:

    1. Heat the ghee or oil in a pan and saute the onion and ginger until pink
    2. Add all the powders and salt
    3. Now add the potatoes and fry until a light brown
    4. Pour the eggs over them and cook
    5. Stir till the eggs set
    6. Serve hot garnished with coriander leaves.
