How to Make Egg Chicken

  • Marinate the chicken with the ground marinade paste for 30 mins.
  • Heat ghee in a pressure cooker.
  • Add chopped onion, dry red chilli, cardamom, cinnamon, cloves. Fry until light brown.
  • Add marinated chicken pieces. Fry for 3 mins.
  • Mix turmeric powder, coriander powder, sugar, poppy seeds and fenugreek seeds and garam masala with 1/2 cup water. Add it to the chicken.
  • Fry for 3 mins until water evaporates.
  • Add sufficient water and pressure cook.
  • When done, keep on low flame and thicken the gravy.
  • Add salt and sugar to taste.
  • Serve hot garnished with boiled egg slices.
