Ingredients

  • 6 - Eggs, hard-boiled
  • 3 - Potatoes, boiled and cut
  • 1/2 - Coconut , grated
  • 1/2-inch - Ginger, grind with masala
  • 4 flakes - cloves, ground
  • 3 - Chillies, green ground
  • 1 bunch - Coriander leaves, ground
  • 1/2 tsp - Pepper corns, ground
  • 5 - Cloves, ground
  • 1 piece - Cinnamon, ground
  • 3 - Cardamoms, ground
  • 1 tbsp - Coriander/Dhania powder
  • 1 tsp - Jeera/Cumin powder, grind
  • 1 ball - Tamarind, paste
  • 1 - Onion, sliced for seasoning
  • 2-3 sprigs - Curry leaves for seasoning
  • 3 tbsp - Oil

How to Make Egg Curry with Green Masala

  • Keep the boiled eggs and potatoes aside.
  • Now grind the masala and keep aside.
  • Then heat the oil in a pan and saute the sliced onions until brown.
  • Then add the curry leaves and the ground masala until well mixed.
  • Add water for the gravy and let it boil.
  • Now add the eggs and the potatoes and simmer until it blends well with the masala.
  • Then add salt to taste and remove from the stove and let it cool.
  • Serve hot with rice or chapathi.
