Ingredients

  • 3 - Egg
  • 3 cup - vegetable stock
  • 3 tsp - soya sauce
  • 1.5 tbsp - Corn starch
  • 2 Clove - garlic, finely chopped
  • 1 - small onion, finely chopped
  • 1 tbsp - Sugar
  • 1/2 tsp - white pepper
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 tbsp - Butter

How to Make Egg Flower Soup

  • Heat butter in a pan and add the chopped onions and garlic. Fry for 2 mins
  • Add soya sauce and stock to the pan and stir
  • Add sugar, salt and pepper and bring to a boil
  • Beat the eggs with a little salt and keep aside
  • Dissolve corn starch in 1/2 cup water and add to the stock
  • Stir continuously to avoid forming lumps. Cook till it becomes thick.
  • Finally add the egg mixture stirring very slowly
  • Serve hot
