Ingredients

  • 2 cups - Water
  • 6 - Egg, base 1
  • 200 gms - Potato, base 2
  • 1 tbsp - Vinegar, for grinding
  • 3 flakes - Garlic, for grinding
  • 1-inch - Ginger, for grinding
  • 1 - Onion, for grinding
  • 2 - Green chillies, for grinding
  • 1/4 tsp - Turmeric/Haldi, for grinding
  • 1/2 tsp - Jeera/Cumin seeds, for grinding
  • 4 - Dry red chillies, for grinding
  • 2 tbsp - Ghee, for seasoning
  • 1/2 - Onion, for seasoning
  • 1 tbsp - Sugar to taste
  • Vinegar to taste
  • Salt to taste

How to Make Egg Indad

  • Hard boil the eggs and cut them into halves.
  • Then grind the ingredients for for grinding.
  • Now heat the ghee in a pan and saute the onions kept for seasoning until brown.
  • Add this to the ground masala, stirring all the time.
  • Then add 1 cup of hot water, salt and sugar and vinegar to it and let it boil.
  • Now add the eggs and potatoes with some water.
  • Let the eggs and potatoes absorb the curry.
  • Serve hot with rice or chapathi.
