Ingredients

  • 4 - eggs
  • 2 - tomatoes, chopped
  • 2 - Onions, large, finely chopped
  • 1 tsp - Turmeric
  • 1 tsp - Red Chilli powder
  • 1 tsp - Dhania-Jeera powder
  • 1 tsp - Ginger-garlic paste
  • 1 tbsp - Tomato ketchup
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 tbsp - Oil
  • Cilantro, grated cheese for garnish (optional)
  • How to Make Egg-onion float:

    1. Heat oil. On medium heat, fry onions, ginger-garlic paste, masala powders for 2 minutes.
    2. Add tomato puree, ketchup salt and fry for 2 minutes more.
    3. Make four wells at the four corners.
    4. Break one egg into each of the wells.
    5. Garnish with grated cheese, chopped cilantro, salt and pepper.
    6. Cover the pan and cook on low heat till the eggs set.
    7. Serve with buttered bread.
