Ingredients

  • 4 - eggs
  • 2 - tomatoes, chopped
  • 2 - Onions, large, finely chopped
  • 1 tsp - Turmeric
  • 1 tsp - Red chilli powder
  • 1 tsp - Dhania-Jeera powder
  • 1 tsp - Ginger-garlic paste
  • 1 tbsp - Tomato ketchup
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 tbsp - Oil
  • Cilantro, grated cheese for garnish (optional)

How to Make Egg-onion float

  • Heat oil. On medium heat, fry onions, ginger-garlic paste, masala powders for 2 minutes.
  • Add tomato puree, ketchup salt and fry for 2 minutes more.
  • Make four wells at the four corners.
  • Break one egg into each of the wells.
  • Garnish with grated cheese, chopped cilantro, salt and pepper.
  • Cover the pan and cook on low heat till the eggs set.
  • Serve with buttered bread.
