Ingredients

  • 6 - small eggs, boiled
  • 2 tbsp - Tomato sauce
  • 1 tbsp - chilli sauce
  • To taste - salt and Sugar
  • 2 tbsp - Tamarind juice
  • For grinding:
  • 10 - dried chillies (soaked in water for 30 minutes)
  • 5 - Garlic
  • 1 tsp - shrimp paste
  • 10 - Shallots
  • How to Make Egg Sambal:

    1. Heat oil. In low fire, add in the eggs and fry gently
    2. Dish out, once all the sides are fried.
    3. For the sambal (use the same oil, add more if required):
    4. Saute the ground ingredients, until oil separates
    5. Add tomato sauce, chilli sauce, salt, sugar and tamarind juice. Remove from fire.
    6. Add in the fried eggs and well coat the eggs, with the sambal
