  • 3 - eggs
  • 4 slices - white bread
  • 1 - small onion, finely chopped
  • 1 - small tomato, finely chopped
  • Coriander leaves, finely chopped
  • 2 - green chillies, finely chopped
  • 1 inch piece - ginger, crushed
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 tsp - red chilli Powder
  • 1 tsp - garam masala
  • A little milk
  • Oil for frying

How to Make Egg Utthappam

  • Beat the eggs. Soak the bread slices in water. Squeeze out the water and add to the beaten eggs.
  • Add a pinch of salt and a tsp of oil to the mixture. To make the mixture smooth, add some milk to it.
  • Heat oil on a tava.
  • Take a portion of the mixture and spread it evenly.
  • Sprinkle a little of the chopped onions, tomatoes, ginger, coriander leaves and green chillies, with a pinch of salt, red chilli powder and garam masala.
  • Fry both sides.
  • Serve with Tomato Ketchup.
