  • 3 - eggs
  • 4 slices - white bread
  • 1 - small onion, finely chopped
  • 1 - small tomato, finely chopped
  • Coriander leaves, finely chopped
  • 2 - green chillies, finely chopped
  • 1 inch piece - ginger, crushed
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 tsp - Red Chilli powder
  • 1 tsp - Garam Masala
  • A little Milk
  • Oil for frying
  • How to Make Egg Utthappam:

    1. Beat the eggs. Soak the bread slices in water. Squeeze out the water and add to the beaten eggs.
    2. Add a pinch of salt and a tsp of oil to the mixture. To make the mixture smooth, add some milk to it.
    3. Heat oil on a tava.
    4. Take a portion of the mixture and spread it evenly.
    5. Sprinkle a little of the chopped onions, tomatoes, ginger, coriander leaves and green chillies, with a pinch of salt, red chilli powder and garam masala.
    6. Fry both sides.
    7. Serve with Tomato Ketchup.
