Ingredients

  • Vermicelli - 2 cup
  • eggs - 3
  • Onion, chopped - 1
  • Green chilli - 2
  • Cooking oil - 2 tbsp
  • Red Chilli - 1 tsp
  • Turmeric - a pinch
  • Water - 1.5 glass
  • Coriander for garnishing
  • Salt to taste
  • How to Make Egg Vermicelli:

    1. In a frying pan, heat the oil and fry the chopped onions till they become tender.
    2. Put the chopped green chillies and fry for one more minute
    3. Put the salt, chilli powder and turmeric. Fry for 2 more mins
    4. Beat the eggs and put them in the pan
    5. Mix well. Cover and cook for 3 to 4 mins, stirring occasionally.
    6. Now, put the water and bring to a boil
    7. Put the vermicelli. Cover and cook till the vermicelli is done, stirring occasionally.
    8. When all the water evaporates and oil starts to leave the sides of the pan, garnish with coriander
    9. Serve hot with tomato ketchup
