Ingredients

  • 1 cup - Maida
  • 1/2 cup - Butter
  • 3/4 cup - Sugar
  • 3 tbsp - warm Milk
  • 1/2 tsp - baking soda
  • 1 tsp - baking powder
  • 50 g - toasted, broken cashew
  • 1 cup - mashed Banana
  • 1/2 tsp - Cardamom powder
  • 1/2 tsp - vanilla essence

How to Make Eggless Banana Cashew Cookies

  • Take a mixing bowl, add all-purpose flour, baking powder, baking soda and mix well.
  • Add butter, vanilla essence, powdered sugar and mix well.
  • Cream sugar and butter until fluffy
  • Peel skin and mash banana well using your hand or grind them to smooth paste.
  • Add banana mixture to the butter mixture and mix well with a wooden spoon.
  • Add this flour mixture to the butter mixture and fold in the flour.
  • Start kneading into dough. Finally add toasted cashew nuts. Add milk if required.
  • If the mixture is too sticky add little flour. Knead the dough until smooth.
  • Cover the dough with butter paper and keep in the fridge for 30 mins.
  • Shape into small balls. Make thick balls, cut it with cookie cutter.
  • Preheat oven and bake at 180 degree Centigrade for 12 mins or until lightly browned. Serve.
