  • 1 cup - dark chocolate pieces
  • 1/2 cup - sugar
  • 2 tbsp - butter
  • 1/4 cup - whole wheat pastry flour
  • 1/2 cup - oat flour
  • 1/2 cup - apple sauce
  • 1/2 cup - milk
  • 1/2 tsp - baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp - baking soda
  • Few walnuts and almonds, chopped
  • Few almond flakes, optional

How to Make Eggless Oats Brownies

  • Preheat the oven to 350F.
  • Heat together chocolate pieces and butter together a microwave safe bowl for 5minutes.
  • Now add the baking powder, sugar, baking soda and beat well till the sugar gets well dissolved.
  • Add milk and apple sauce to the chocolate-butter mixture, give a stir.
  • Finally add the whole wheat pastry flour, oats flour, chopped walnuts and almonds to the chocolate-sugar mixture, mix slowly.
  • Pour the chocolate batter to a greased cake pan.
  • Sprinkle few almond flakes over the batter and bake for 25-30 minutes.
