  • 2 cups - quick cooking oats
  • 1/2 cup - cornmeal
  • 1/2 cup - all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp - baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp - baking soda
  • 1/4 cup - Sugar
  • 1/4 cup - walnuts, chopped coarsely
  • 1/2 cup - Apple sauce
  • 3 tbsp - Canola Oil
  • 1/4 cup - Sugar
  • How to Make Eggless Oats, Cornmeal N Apple Scones:

    1. Preheat the oven to 350F.
    2. Mix quick cooking oats, cornmeal, all-purpose flour, baking powder, baking soda, sugar, apple sauce, canola oil and chopped walnuts and knead everything to a dough.
    3. Dust the dough with few spoons of all-purpose flour.
    4. Roll the dough with a rolling pin to a thick disc.
    5. Cut the disc into 8 wedges and transfer this to a baking sheet, leaving at least few space in between the scones.
    6. Brush on top of the scones with canola oil and bake them for 20 minutes.
