Ingredients

  • 2 cups - All-purpose flour
  • 1 cup - Brown sugar
  • 1.25 cups - Water
  • 2/3 cup - Butter
  • 1 cup - Raisin (Chop roughly)
  • 1 tsp - All Spice Powder
  • 1 tsp - Baking Powder
  • 1 tsp - Baking Soda
  • 3/4 tsp - Salt
  • How to Make Eggless Raisin Cake:

    1. Boil brown sugar, water, butter, all spice powder and chopped raisin together for 3 minutes. Let the contents cool.
    2. Meanwhile, preheat the oven to 325 degrees F.
    3. Grease a pan. Keep aside.
    4. Combine All-purpose flour, salt, baking powder and baking soda.
    5. Now, combine boiled and cooled raisin mixture and the flour mixture.
    6. Pour the mixture in to the greased pan.
    7. Bake for 55 minutes, or a toothpick inserted into centre of the cake comes out clean.
