  • 2.5 cups - Whole Wheat flour
  • 1 cup - All-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup - Melted Butter
  • 1 tbsp - Active Dry yeast
  • 1 tbsp - Sugar
  • 1 tsp - Salt
  • 1.5 cups - Luke warm water
  • 2tbp - Cinnamon powder
  • 2 tbsp - Brown packed Sugar
  • 2 tsp - Butter
  • 3 tbsp - Confectioner's Sugar
  • How to Make Eggless Whole Wheat Cinnamon Rolls:

    1. In a small bowl, add the active yeast, sugar and salt in lukewarm water, stir and keep aside, let it sit for 5 minutes until it turns foamy.
    2. Take together the whole wheat flour, all-purpose flour and melted butter.
    3. Gradually add the foamy yeast to the flour and knead as dough, dust the dough with enough flour and knead for few minutes until it turns soft.
    4. Arrange the dough in a greased bowl, let it sit for an hour in a warm place.
    5. Flatten the dough with a rolling pin and brush the butter over the flattened dough and sprinkle the packed brown sugar, cinnamon powder over the dough.
    6. Roll the dough as a loaf.
    7. Slice the dough as you desire.
    8. Arrange those slices over a greased baking mould.
    9. Cover it with a plastic wrap and let it sit again for an hour until they swell.
    10. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
    11. Arrange the baking pan in the middle rack and bake the uncooked roll for 25-30 minutes until it turns golden brown.
    12. Let it cool.
    13. Sprinkle confectioner's sugar.
    14. Serve with tea.
