  • 1 cup - Whole-wheat flour
  • 1/2 cup - All-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup - Vanilla flavored custard powder
  • 3/4 cup - Sugar
  • 1 cup - Milk
  • 1/4 cup - Butter
  • 2 tsp - Baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp - Baking soda
  • 1/4 cup - Oil
  • How to Make Eggless Yellow Sponge Cake:

    1. Sift together the whole-wheat flour, all-purpose flour, baking soda and baking powder and keep aside.
    2. Heat milk, butter and sugar together until the sugar melts, then turn off the stove.
    3. Add the oil and mix.
    4. Slowly add custard powder to the wet ingredients and mix well without forming any lumps.
    5. Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and gently stir with a spatula, don't overmix.
    6. Preheat oven to 350 degrees .
    7. Grease either a loaf pan or mini loaf pan.
    8. Pour the prepared cake batter on to the greased mould and bake for 20-25 minutes until a skewer inserted comes out clean.
    9. Serve with a cup of tea or coffee.
