Ingredients

  • 2 - tomatoes
  • 2 - potatoes
  • 4 - green chillies ( according to your taste)
  • 2 - puthi dry fish ( Shidol)
  • A handful - lentil (masoor dal)
  • salt
  • coriander leaves for garnishing

How to Make Erolpa

  • Boil tomatoes, potatoes, green chillies and lentil together till done.
  • Roast the shidol and put it in warm water.
  • Clean the fish, throw the bones away.
  • In a vessel, take green chillies and salt to taste and mash it with a wooden masher or with a steel glass.
  • Add the remaining ingredients and mash it together.
  • Add a little bit of the water in which you boiled the vegetable. This mixture should not become watery.
  • Now garnish with coriander leaves and serve with rice along with fish fry.
