Ingredients

  • 1.5 cup - smooth mango pulp
  • 2 - egg whites
  • 1 tsp - vanilla essence
  • 1/2 tsp - cardamom powder
  • 1/4 tsp - cinnamon powder
  • 1/4 tsp - nutmeg powder
  • 3/4 cup - sugar
  • 3/4 cup - whipping cream
  • 2 packets - unflavored gelatin
  • 1 - baked pie crust (approx 9 inch)
  • 1 tbsp - lemon juice
  • 1/2 cup - water

How to Make Festive Mango Pie

  • In a pan, mix sugar, gelatine and water.
  • Boil till gelatine and sugar dissolve.
  • Remove from fire.
  • Add mango pulp, lemon juice.
  • Mix it well, set in refrigerator for 1 hour.
  • Beat egg whites.
  • Mix it with the set mixture, add all the remaining ingredients except the pie crust.
  • Place the pie crust in a pan.
  • Pour the mixture over it.
  • Set it for another 3 hours in the refrigerator.
  • Serve after garnishing with mango slices.
