Ingredients

  • 150 g - dried figs, chopped
  • 3 tbsp - roasted almonds, chopped
  • a big pinch saffron
  • 2 tsp - hot milk
  • 2 cup - curd cheese
  • 1/2 cup - honey
  • 1/2 cup - icing sugar
  • 1 cup - double cream
  • extra honey to garnish

How to Make Fig and Honey Delight

  • Soak figs in 1/2 cup of boiling hot water for 30 minutes. Add the roasted almonds.
  • Soak saffron in hot milk and crush.
  • Beat the curd cheese till smooth. Stir in the honey and icing sugar.
  • Mix in the figs, almonds and saffron.
  • Whip the cream till thick and fold into the fig mixture.
  • Serve well chilled, drizzled with honey.
